Ahoy, matey (I always wanted to say that)! Ever wanted to see a pirate’s life outside of the Pirates of the Caribbean film series? Then take a step back in time on May 19th and visit the Mayflower Society House’s reenactment of the true story of pirates landing in Plymouth in1646 (described in Governor William Bradford’s book Of Plimoth Plantation). From 9:45 am to a lecture that starts at 7 p.m., engage in all sorts of pirate-y activities.  They’re all hosted at the Mayflower Society House, but anyone who is truly a pirate knows to keep an eye out for any pirate flags hanging at various locations in downtown Plymouth.
