Nearly 1 million visitors from the world over come to see Plymouth Rock each year. Nestled in a beautiful portico on the shore of Plymouth Harbor, this simple glacial boulder has 1620 – the year the Mayflower landed – carved into it. The Rock anchors the Plymouth waterfront, and is surrounded by a beautiful landscaped park, complete with benches and plenty of grassy, shaded areas to enjoy the 360 degree views! During the summer/fall The Mayflower II is located a stone’s throw away, although she is scheduled to be gone for repairs for much of 2017/2018. Manned by an interpreter during busy hours.
