Minds and Hearts: The Story of James Otis Jr. and Mercy Otis Warren –
Jeffrey H. Hacker
Pre-registration required – see below

Join us every Thursday evening in June to meet book specialists and authors for live webinar programs, free to the public.

“Minds and Hearts” is the dual biography of two remarkable siblings, James Otis Jr., a firebrand attorney and political agitator during the Revolution, and Mercy Otis Warren, who embraced the patriot cause with equally incendiary passion. This new book places James and Mercy in the spotlight together for the first time, amid the rush of events, competing ideologies, and changing social conditions of eighteenth-century America. Independent scholar and writer Jeffrey H. Hacker crafts a compelling narrative that focuses on the Otises’ unique and dramatic relationship and traces their impact on the Revolutionary movement in Massachusetts. Copies available for purchase on release, at PHM or our online shop here.

Register here!

Lectures will also be recorded and available for viewing after the live presentation is aired.
