Things to do In Plymouth MA: Hike, Bike, Camp!

Help us to reopen a favorite trail that has gotten overgrown in the last several years. Join a crew of volunteers from the New England Aquarium to help cut back some of the growth along the trail running southwest from the equestrian lot (P3 on the above map) and continuing southwest across Jessup to Lunxus and then to Dunham.

There is no hunting on Sundays in Massachusetts so wearing blaze orange will not be necessary.

Bring loppers and hand saws if you have them. Work gloves help protect your hands. The DCR will be out with power brush cutting tools. (Don’t bring your own.) We may also paint blazes along the trail.

Meet at headquarters for this. We will drive to the work area. All volunteers will receive a Friends green Rediscover Nature short sleeve t-shirt. (New order was just received. Some long sleeve blaze orange are also available.)

Afterwards, a visit to the Little Red Smokehouse may be in order.
