• What we’ll do
Join a group of Thursday morning AMC hikers on a 5-6 mile AMC hike led by experienced AMC leader Walt Granda. You do not need to be a member of the Appalachian Mountain Club to come on this hike.
Pre-registration is not required for this activity. However, you may wish to contact the leader(s) if you have any questions. (Walt Granda[masked] (best time to call: Before 9:00 PM)
Dogs are not allowed on AMC hikes. (More info about the AMC at: http://www.outdoors.org )
Meet time 9:45 am at the Myles Standish Headquarters parking lot Cranberry Rd, Carver. The 5-6 mile mile hike will take us around East Head Pond and also on the Bentley trail. Required equipment: backpack, rain gear, hiking shoes, water, snacks, and lunch. Snow/ice may require snowshoes or microspikes. Heavy rain will cancel.

From Rte. 495: Take Rte. 495 to exit 2 (South Carver) and turn left (north) on Rte. 58. Take Rte. 58 north for 2.6 miles until it forks left. Then continue straight for about one mile on Tremont Street for 0.8 miles and turn right on Cranberry Rd. Follow signs into park.
