Join Grace Junek of Be Inspired Fitness & Yoga for The Spirit of Yoga, a three-part spring series at Wildlands Trust. The Spirit of Yoga Series is designed to bring more spiritual awareness, not only to the physical part of yoga, but to your life in general. It is recommended you take all three workshops, however they can be taken individually. Each 75-minute class will be a combination of lecture and yoga, and will be held on April 25, May 30, and June 27, 2019. Bring your yoga mat, comfortable clothes, and a blanket.
In this second workshop, we will discuss the main attributes of mindfulness and how to use it to create inner peace and a sense of well-being in our lives. We will also use mindfulness in a vinyasa-style yoga flow. We will learn how to pay attention to details in order to create a practice where we are more fully present. In this digital age, life can be utterly overwhelming because there are hundreds of things constantly vying for our attention. We need tools, other than medication, to navigate this stressful terrain, so it won’t destroy our inner peace. One tool is the practice of mindfulness.
