Congregation Beth Jacob is the oldest synagogue in Massachusetts still using its original house of worship. At this Synagogue Open House, Docents will provide a historical and educational tour of their sanctuary, inviting guests to watch a short video presenting highlights of the past and present history. Learn how early settlers came to choose the town of Plymouth. The tour will include a visit to their sukkah. Colorful artwork panels illustrating Plymouth’s Jewish connection to the Pilgrim story will be on display in the fall, weather permitting.
