Join Wildlands Trust and Living Observatory for an update on the isotope study of Plymouth groundwater and learn about ways you can help!

In 2018, Living Observatory partnered with Professor David Boutt, Associate Prof GeoHydrogeology at UMass Amherst, to coordinate this isotope sampling project for Plymouth. We welcomed Professor Boutt to Wildlands Trust in August of 2018 to discuss this project and recruit volunteers. To date, approximately 25 volunteers sample private wells and ponds in the Plymouth area and early samples have been processed.

We welcome Professor Boutt back to Wildlands this winter to discuss the early results of the study and describe the project, the contribution of the Plymouth samplers, and his goals for expanding the number of sample sites in Plymouth.

This program is free and open to the public.
