Maple Springs

Join us for a 5 mile hike through one of the new properties acquired in 2015 on the southern border of Myles Standish by the Department of Fish and Wildlife. The hike will bring us in to Myles Standish, pass Little Long Pond and the Maple Springs Reservoir before heading back south to the parking area.

Most of the land in in the Maple Springs WMA is cranberry bogs and it is quite spectacular.

Meet us at 8 for breakfast first (or just a cup of coffee) at the Riverside Cafe at 189 Main St. in Wareham center if you are able. (Main St. is the same as Route 6.)

Please bring water and snacks for a two and a half to three hour walk.  This hike is long but not difficult.
