The summer of 2021 marked another year of UMass Boston’s archaeological exploration in downtown Plymouth. Dr. David Landon will provide an overview of the project to date, highlighting the ways archaeologists use artifacts and other clues to envision past landscapes. The wide range of artifacts and samples collected span the entire period from Native Patuxet through the 20th century, and help us understand the history of land use and the town’s changing environment.
You may bring a bagged lunch or snack to enjoy while you experience the lecture series. Our Plentiful Cafe will be open to purchase lunch as well.
