There may not have been any Plymouth knights, but Plymouth Colony wasn’t lacking in shining armor! Join us for the surprising history of personal protective equipment English colonists brought with them from Old England with Daniel Rosen —one of Plimoth’s top researchers, role-players, and reproduction fabricators. Dan will lead you through the choices 17th-century people made when evaluating different sorts of armor; take a jab at misconceptions about its use; and skirmish with the development of armor through the present day.
