During the winter, coastal Massachusetts is home to over 30 species of waterfowl. Ducks have a lot to offer anyone who pays attention to them: they are large, beautiful and can be found almost anywhere. Their large size and distinctive coloring makes then an excellent group to study for beginning birders. In this class you’ll learn about the species of duck you can expect to see and how to identify them. You can then practice your ID skills on our duck field trip on the following Saturday!
