Join yoga instructor Maureen Francis for an hour of restorative and strengthening Hatha yoga in the Community Conservation Barn, followed by a light hike led by Wildlands Trust staff. No experience necessary! Please bring a yoga mat and dress comfortably, with a change of clothes or layers for hiking. $5 members / $10 nonmembers at the door.
Hatha yoga, the most widely practiced form of yoga in America, concentrates on physical health and mental well-being. Hatha yoga uses bodily postures, breathing techniques, and meditation with the goal of bringing about a sound, healthy body and a clear, peaceful mind. The postures we will practice work to stretch and align the body, promoting balance, flexibility, and circulation.
