From Coal Grates to Tomatoes: First Appearances in Plymouth –
Dr. Donna Curtin
This event will be livestreamed

Tomatoes were strange novelties before they became a summer standard – find out when Plymoutheans first encountered these juicy joys and other innovations that came along!

The Pilgrim Society and PHM partner with the Plymouth Antiquarian Society to present a different historical exploration every first Saturday. This month, Dr. Donna Curtin, Executive Director of PHM, speaks on all the innovation in Plymouth, when first it was new! If you aren’t able to watch today, this event will be archived for future viewing.

Visit the Antiquarian Society’s Facebook page to tune in at 1 PM.  You do not need to have a Facebook account to view the livestream.  A recording will be available for viewing after the event on the Society’s website.
