Did you know that Benjamin Franklin was a guitarist? Join internationally-recognized musician and entertainer Mark T. Small for a special performance and discussion of American music from the early 1800s to the 1950s.  Learn little-known facts about music and history, like how the Spanish-American War affected guitarists, and hear Mark T. Small play classic songs. This event has been developed with a donation from the Jen Kane Scholarship and Charitable Trust which provides scholarships, endowments and donations to charitable foundations in memory of Jen Kane, a Plymouth native who lost her life in the World Trade Center on September 11th. Suitable for children ages 6 and up. For more information about this program, contact the Youth Services Department at (508) 830-4250 or visit the library’s website at www.plymouthpubliclibrary.org for a full list of programs and events. The library is fully accessible; please let us know if you need special accommodation to attend.
