If you enjoy listening to jazz and want to support a critical need in our community, then you will want to attend In-SPIRED – the 2nd annual Benefit for the Plymouth Recovery Center at the Spire Performing Center for the Arts. This Saturday October 6th, swoon to the sound of jazz performed by accomplished vocalist Donna Byrne and her band!

The benefit’s goal is to raise awareness and support for the Plymouth Recovery Center, a resource for those recovering from addictions and their families.

Tickets cost $25, and all proceeds benefit the Plymouth Recovery Center. Check out event details at the Plymouth123.com events calendar

Astute locals will know that the event venue and the recovery center have something in common: they were both founded by Bob Hollis.  Bob lost his son to addiction.  He and his family have been tireless advocates of raising awareness and ending the stigma of addiction. Coincidentally, I interviewed Bob about the Recovery Center on the most recent episode of The Plymouth Show (on PAC-TV), and the current episode includes interviews with him about The Spire Center, and his insurance business.  Check out days/times for the episode at the top/pinned post at our Facebook page.

This Saturday’s event will be music to our ears…thank you Bob for your tireless work, and thank you to Donna and her band!
